This charming cottage is down a leafy lane off the village crossroads and common yet within easy access of M40, M25, Heathrow, Windsor, Oxford, Amersham station is only 3 miles away with underground into London.
The visitors' lounge has comfy sofas, an inglenook fireplace and television.
The double en suite has views over open countryside at the back.
The twin is at the front overlooking the lane and has a lovely private bathroom.
Each room has a tv, hairdryer and tea and coffee facilities and wireless internet access.
The south facing garden has an open aspect across the fields to Penn. There are lovely walks around and public footpaths start just down the lane.
Potters Arms - just 200m up the lane, great for a drink or very good pub grub.
The Plough - a wonderful position in the centre of the village, restaurant with seriously good food. Also great for a drink or bar snacks in the comfortable lounge bar or outside for lunch or on a summer's evening.
Although the cottage is non-smoking, an ash tray can be provided for in the garden.
Although Winchmore Hill is a rural area it is well placed for travel to London, Oxford, Windsor, M25, M40 etc. Amersham and Beaconsfield (3 miles away) have fast trains to London and both are old coaching towns with a variety of good restaurants.
